Learning Commons Construction:

-- the OCCS computer lab has been moved to the back of the 2nd floor. It should be available for use very soon (June 16 or 17).
(Because of renovations to the front of the 2nd floor, you will need to use the back elevators for access.)

-- the Mini Learning Commons in the reference room will remain open (limited number of computers and a printer) until the 2nd floor lab is operational. It will be relocated to the back of the 2nd floor and should take 2 days to complete.

-- the front library entrance will be closed as of June 21 (subject to change). An entrance is being created on the west side of the library near the parking garage.

"Projected" timeline:

. . . . . 2nd floor renovation continues
June 14: Computer lab moves to back of 2nd floor -- reopens 6/16 or 6/17
June 16: Mini Learning Commons moves to back of 2nd floor -- reopens 6/18
June 21: West side entrance to library opens; front entrance closes
July 1: Circulation Desk opens on 2nd floor
July 5: 2nd floor staff office construction begins (completion: Aug 16)
August 25: 1st floor renovation begins; Reference Desk and computers move to back of 3rd floor (completion: July 2011)
sometime at the end of 2011: Learning Commons opens
