Once you’ve done the research, it’s important to properly cite the information in your papers. In this workshop, we will table about ways the library databases and other resources help you create and use citations; how to tell if you might be plagiarizing; and where in the library you can go for more help.
Come to our workshop on Wednesday, March 19, from 5-6pm in LC Room 1306. Contact Rachel Lux at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Come to Room 1306 in the Learning Commons, at Perry Library on Wednesday, March 19, from 3-4pm for an EndNote workshop.
Learn how to collect references from the library's databases and export them into EndNote, a powerful tool for organizing and managing bibliographic references. You will also learn how to import and format references in your Word document with Cite While You Write.
Computers with EndNote are available, but if you bring your own laptop, we ask that you already have EndNote X7 installed. Instructions and information are available from the Tutorials & How-Tos link on the library web site or here: http://guides.lib.odu.edu/endnote .
Contact Karen Vaughan email@example.com to register.
