Graduate Workshops: EndNote & ICPSR
Two graduate workshops this week!
Thursday, February 25, 4:30-6:00 PM: Using EndNote with Library Databases to Save You Time!
Learn how to collect citations from the library's databases and export them into EndNote, a powerful tool for organizing and managing bibliographic citations. Both desktop and Web versions will be included. Bringing your own laptop would be very helpful. If you do bring a laptop, we ask that you have EndNote downloaded to it already. (See How To Use EndNote for instructions.)
Registration is required. Click here to Register. For more information, contact Miriam Bridges at mbridges@odu.edu
Saturday, February 27, 10:00-11:30 AM: Using ICPSR to Access Social Science Research Data
vast archive of social science data, provided by the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR). ICPSR's data holdings, divided into 17 broad subject areas, are designed for use with statistical software, such as SAS, SPSS, and Stata. ICPSR is an organization with over 640 member colleges and universities around the world. Our access to ICPSR is funded with support from the ODU Office of Research.
