Beginning Sunday April 22, the Learning Commons will be open continuously through the end of finals on Thursday May 3. This extension is in response to feedback received from our users.

During Spring Break, equipment loans will still be available at the Learning Commons Help Desk.

7-day loan equipment that is checked out Friday March 2 - Sunday March 4 will have a due date of Monday March 12.

Come to the Learning Commons Conference Room 1 (1310) for an instructional training session on how to remove viruses and malware from your computer using McAfee Anti-Virus and Malwarebytes Anti-malware. You'll also learn how to perform your Operating System updates.

The Virtual Computer Lab is a software system that provides 7 X 24 X 365 computer access to applications and systems for anyone that has access to a basic computer. Topics to be covered include making a reservation and connecting with the remote client.

What's New in Information Literacy

On Friday, February 10, from 2-3pm, come to the Learning Commons Instruction Room 1306 and find out What's New in Information Literacy. If you've taught or are planning to teach information literacy & research as a general education requirement, please come to this informative session and hear what's new with the modules, quizzes, and assignments. Attend a Cyber Security Information training session to help educate you on how to stay safe online. Topics include safe browsing tips and how to recognize phishing emails.

The Math & Science Resource Center, located in the Learning Commons Room 1312, is offering FREE math tutoring for Math 101, Math 102, and Math 162. Open from Monday - Friday from 9am-7pm.

Writing Tutorial Services is now located in the Learning Commons @ Perry Library, Room 1307. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-12pm. Appointments are required: 683-4013.

WTS provides assistance to both undergraduate and graduate students in all disciplines to prepare them for the challenges of composing essay assignments, test preparation, seminar papers, theses, dissertations, and application materials.
