EndNote Help
March 14th, 2012If you missed the all-day EndNote training sessions, you can still get help. EndNote offers video training, webinars, and they have a YouTube channel.
Go to http://www.endnote.com/training for many of your needs. Or, go to http://www.youtube.com/user/EndNoteTraining/videos for brief training on many EndNote features.
The Library also offers a page full of help. From the "Tutorials & How-tos" link, click "Use EndNote" under How-tos. We'll be offering another Grad/Faculty workshop on Saturday, April 7.
For undergraduate students, we have 3 EndNote Web workshops scheduled for March 27, 28, 29.

… save and organize articles and other materials you find while conducting your research
… create in-text citations and works cited pages in proper citation style while typing your paper
… collaborate and share references with others (EndNote Web)
On Monday, March 12, Donna Kirking* will be in the Learning Commons Library Instruction Room 1306 teaching four in-depth training sessions on using EndNote.
Please plan to attend one or all of the following sessions:

1:30-3:00 EndNote Web for EndNote Users
3:30-5:00 EndNote Advanced: Tips & Tricks

Virus Scans and OS Updates
February 22nd, 2012Come to the Learning Commons Conference Room 1 (1310) for an instructional training session on how to remove viruses and malware from your computer using McAfee Anti-Virus and Malwarebytes Anti-malware. You'll also learn how to perform your Operating System updates.

February 10th, 2012The Virtual Computer Lab is a software system that provides 7 X 24 X 365 computer access to applications and systems for anyone that has access to a basic computer. Topics to be covered include making a reservation and connecting with the remote client.
