August 24th, 2011Faculty are invited to find out "What’s new in the Library," a workshop which will include an introduction to the new Learning Commons. Come to the Perry Library, Room 1306 on Friday August 26 from 10-11am.
EndNote Workshop July 15
July 6th, 2011Learn how to use EndNote, a powerful tool for organizing and managing bibliographic citations. You can easily export citations directly from library databases and create automatic bibliographies and in-text citations in your Word documents using Cite-while-you-write.
Come to a workshop on Friday, July 15 from 10:30am-noon in the 3rd floor Research Commons. If you have a laptop, you may want to bring it with you. It's helpful if you already have the EndNote program installed -- for information on installing the software Click here

BLTs continue this week
January 18th, 2011Last chance for a BLT (Brief Library Tour). Tuesday, January 18th and Wednesday, January 19th at 3:30.
ODU students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to stop by Perry Library for a brief library tour! Interested individuals should meet inside Perry Library by the Gornto/BAL entrance near the poster. The 30-minute tours are led by a staff member from the Reference and Research Department.

January 10th, 2011The library's BLT (Brief Library Tours) for Spring 2011 have been scheduled for the next 2 weeks. ODU students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to stop by Perry Library for a brief library tour! Interested individuals should meet inside Perry Library by the Gornto/BAL entrance near the poster. The 30-minute tours are led by a staff member from the Reference and Research Department and will be offered during the following days/times: January 12th, 13th, and 14th at 11:00 and January 18th and 19th at 3:30.

Lit Review in Education & Psychology
October 8th, 2010Thousands of journal articles, dissertations, government publications and other resources can be found online through various library online subscriptions services. Experience how to do a thorough literature review in psychology and education, using the library’s research databases.
Graduate students are encouraged to attend this workshop on Friday, October 15, from 2-3:30pm in the Perry Library 3rd floor Reference Room. (note: date/time change)
