The library's BLT (Brief Library Tours) for Spring 2011 have been scheduled for the next 2 weeks. ODU students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to stop by Perry Library for a brief library tour! Interested individuals should meet inside Perry Library by the Gornto/BAL entrance near the poster. The 30-minute tours are led by a staff member from the Reference and Research Department and will be offered during the following days/times: January 12th, 13th, and 14th at 11:00 and January 18th and 19th at 3:30.

On Tuesay, September 28, from 3:00-4:30pm, come to a Graduate Student Workshop "Using EndNote with Library Databases to Save You Time!" Learn how to collect citations from the library's databases and export them into EndNote, a powerful tool for organizing and managing bibliographic citations. Both desktop and Web versions will be included. Bringing your own laptop will be very helpful. If you do bring a laptop, we ask that you have EndNote downloaded to it already.

A workshop on Saturday, July 17 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM will help you review how to construct the best search strategy for your research topics in the PubMed and CINAHL databases. Using keywords and subject terms, combining terms, using limits, and accessing full text articles will all be covered. Faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend this event, to be held in Perry library, Room 163.
