The Perry Library will be open from 1pm until 8pm on Sunday, October 10 and from 8am until 6pm on Monday, October 11. The Library will be open normal hours on Tuesday, October 12.

The Diehn Composers Room and Hofheimer Art Libraries will be closed on Sunday, October 10 and open from 8am until 5pm on Monday, October 11. They will return to normal hours on Tuesday, October 12.

The Virginia Tidewater Consortium (VTC) for Higher Education is made up of the colleges and universities in the Tidewater area. ODU is part of this consortium.

The libraries of the VTC cooperate through a reciprocal borrowing program. ODU students, faculty and staff can borrow books from any of the VTC libraries. BUT, you need to have a consortium card. You may get this card from the Circulation Desk on the 2nd floor of Perry Library.

BIOSIS Previews and Zoological Record are now available through Web of Science.

BIOSIS Previews is the premier database for life sciences and biomedical research. Through Web of Science, you can search current and backfiles (back to 1926) in one search. Zoological Record covers every aspect of zoology, with coverage back to 1978.

Access these databases from the library's "FIND DATABASES A-Z" option.

In accordance with the University's announcement, the University Libraries will open at 10am on Friday 10/1.

Old Dominion University will have a two hour delayed opening on Friday, October 1. Administrative offices will open at 10 a.m. Classes will begin at 10 a.m., starting with classes regularly scheduled for that time. Any classes that begin prior to 10 a.m. are cancelled. Essential personnel should report as directed.
