Keep Yourself on Track: Easy Note-Taking in a Digital World
Learn how to organize your research notes in an easy and fun way by using apps for your IPad or Android tablets. Apps highlighted will include Evernote, Penultimate, and more. The workshop will include tips for organizing the information you need to keep track of your research for annotated bibliographies, research papers, thesis, and more.

On Wednesdays at 10:00am and 2:00pm throughout the semester, everyone is invited to come to the 10-Minute Tip Table in the Learning Commons (near Einstein's).
TIP for Wednesday, January 30: come and find out about reserving rooms, checking equipment availability, etc in the Learning Commons.
On Thursday, January 31, from 6-7pm, distance students will have a chance to "Discover Library Resources @ Your Fingertips." Learn how to virtually access library resources including books, e-materials, journal articles, dissertations, reference materials and more. Attendees will learn how to effectively use library resources from a distance.

Using EndNote with Library Databases!
On Friday, January 25, from 10:30am - noon, come to the Learning Commons Instruction Room 1306 to learn how to collect citations from the library’s databases and export them into EndNote, a powerful tool for organizing and managing bibliographic citations. If you bring your own laptop, we ask that you already have EndNote downloaded. Instructions and information available from the Tutorials & How-Tos link on the library web site.

ODU Libraries is pleased to announce that, beginning Friday, January 11, 2013, ODU Monarch-Key username and password will serve as login for the ILLiad interlibrary loan and document delivery system. New registrants and past users with differing ILLiad and MIDAS-Key account usernames will be prompted to complete a short, one-time only registration form prior to submitting requests.
