CREDITS
Materials in this exhibit are from the Allan Blank Collection, Old Dominion University Libraries' Diehn Composers Room, and from Allan Blank's personal collections. All materials have been used by permission.
The exhibit and all of its peripheral documentation was designed and produced by Karen Meizner, Special Projects Librarian. Robert W. Cross, Director of the Virginia Arts Festival, was the music director for the accompanying concert. Dottie M. Evans, Library Specialist, provided moral and editorial support; Elizabeth Hogue, Humanities Reference Librarian, provided intellectual support, performed much research, and edited much of the written documentation. Amy Douglas, Library Assistant, served as Public Relations Coordinator and provided administrative support in every regard. Special thanks go to Rosalee Tuttle, volunteer in the Diehn Composers Room, whose discoveries while processing the materials in the Allan Blank Collection provided much of the background for this exhibit.
This event was inspired by Dr. Jean A. Major, University Librarian of Old Dominion University Libraries, who also sought and acquired grant funding. Virginia O'Herron, Assistant University Librarian for Information Services, ensured that all deadlines were met and coordinated all projects at the administrative level.
