and an exhibit of manuscripts,

| "Allan Blank’s passion for new music is evident in a lifetime of composition, performance and teaching. From training at Juilliard and New York University in violin performance to an 18-year career teaching composition at Virginia Commonwealth University where he is now Professor Emeritus, Blank has composed both instrumental and vocal pieces. He has won national competitions, including the George Eastman Competition and the Eric Satie Award, earning him scores of commissions and resulting in dozens of recordings. This performance is an amazing glimpse into his creative body of work." |
