F. Ludwig Diehn Composers Room

The Diehn Composters Room, located in the Fine and Performing Arts (FPA) building, will close at 2pm today (Tue May 14) due to poor air quality. The Hofheimer Art Library, also located in FPA, is not affected and will remain open until 5pm.

The F. Ludwig Diehn Composers Room provides services and resources related to the musical collections held by the Old Dominion University Libraries. A valid ODU identification card or ODU library card is required for use of the Diehn Composers Room facilities or materials. The Reading Room, an area designated for use with the Library's special collections, is available by appointment.

Music Special Collections

Music Special Collections consist of the New Music Performance Collection, the Contemporary Music Research Collection, and the Old Dominion University Department of Music Student Performance Recordings. Digitized materials from Music Special Collections can also be found here.

Historical Recordings Collection

The Historical Recordings Collection contains original 45s, 78s, and LPs that would be of interest to the researcher in music history.
