The Listening Library

The F. Ludwig Diehn Composers Room is a branch library facility of the University Library at Old Dominion University. The Listening Library houses the music special collections, scores, music videos, music kits, and sound recordings of the University Library. The facility makes a full complement of audio equipment available for users at eight single-user stations; an additional station makes group listening (up to four people) available. A station containing a multimedia computer, vcr, and laserdisc player is also readily accessed. A small reference collection containing resources of special interest to sound recordings research is housed in the Listening Library.
