The library homepage provides links to the library catalog (for books, videos, etc.) as well as journals, magazines and newspapers (when you know the specific one you want), guides, tutorials, and much more.
Use the Databases page. Click on one of the broad topic categories; then choose a database that covers your area of interest from more than 200 available. You will need to enter your UIN and your ODU email address (including the odu.edu) and say “yes” to 2 security questions. Some freely-available databases not requiring you to enter your UIN include:
| Google Scholar | Findarticles.com |
| ERIC (education) | PubMed (medicine) |
Some databases provide free full-text articles online. If the article you want is not free online, request it through our free and fast Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery instead.
By Email: Ask-a-librarian online form
