Lobby Exhibit

Through Fall 2004, an exhibit in the lobby of the Old Dominion University Perry Library celebrates the Tenth Anniversary of the Friends of the Library. The exhibit includes a variety of materials from the organization's history:

a scrapbook created by Friend member Cynthia McCraw, highlighting the Friends of the Library history
a list of founding members, accompanied by appropriate news articles
materials recognizing annual events, including the Baskets for Books games, Author Dinners, Outstanding Achievement Award winners, Fall Forum participants
selected reading lists and book signing participants
recognition of the annual library staff appreciation reception sponsored by the Friends
material from two special events hosted by the Friends: the 1998 summer workshop Retrieve and Preserve the Stories and Stuff of Life and the 2001 public radio event The Book Guys
public relations materials, such as brochures, stickers, mugs, t-shirts, sweatshirts, post card books, and tote bags
