12th Annual Author Dinner

On Wednesday, March 29, 2006, the Friends of the Library held our 12th Annual Author Dinner. The featured speaker was Paul Rasor, Director of the Center for Religious Freedom at Virginia Wesleyan College, and author of Faith without Certainty: Liberal Theology in the Twenty-First Century. Dr. Rasor spoke on the topic: "Faith, Freedom and the First Amendment: A Liberal Perspective."

 

The Friends of the Library Outstanding Achievement Award was presented to Katherine T. Bucher, Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at Old Dominion University.
