Ways the
Friends of the Libraries Support Us
The Friends of the Old Dominion University Libraries support the University Libraries in many ways. Among the resources supported through funding by the Friends are:
- the general book collection
- preservation services and materials
- improved and additional shelving

- numerous electronic resources
- the JSTOR Arts and Letters Collection
- staff scholarships for library staff pursing graduate degrees in Library and Information Sciences
|
The Old Dominion University Libraries gratefully acknowledges the support of the Friends of the Library for providing funds used to purchase the journal Limnology and Oceanography. This journal is highly valued by the faculty and students of the nationally recognized oceanography program at ODU.
