The goal of the University Libraries' Information Literacy Program is to help individuals learn how to locate, evaluate, and use information effectively through a variety of means and in collaboration with the teaching faculty.

8 week, 1 credit course (mostly online)
offered next in Spring 2009:
Research in the Information Age, AL 201

Meets on Wednesdays at 4:20PM first half of the semester.
Three mandatory in-person sessions with others delivered via Blackboard.
Register through Leo Online.
Be sure to select "regular courses" as the type of class; then Arts & Letters.

BLT (Brief Library Tours) for the campus community (students, faculty, staff):

Interested individuals (not whole classes, please) meet in the lobby of Perry Library near the poster at any of these times for a 30-minute informative tour led by a reference librarian: 3:30PM on September 2, 3, 4, 5 and 11:00AM on September 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.
