Off–Campus Access:

When you select an electronic resource (database, journal, etc.) from off campus, you will be prompted to enter your student ID number. Use your 8 digit University ID Number (UIN). For fulltext articles, choose from:

  • ABI/Inform -- Business and Management resources: use the Advanced Search.
  • Contemporary Women's Issues -- Covering sociology, education, human rights associated with women's issues.
  • CQ Researcher --Single themed reports covering political and social issues.
  • Women's Studies International -- Covers the core disciplines in Women’s Studies to the latest scholarship in feminist research.
  • Education Full Text -- Use the Advanced Search to find articles about workplace and education issues.
  • Factiva -- Generally, just use the "free text" search. You can also use Intelligent Indexing to limit your search by "Industry" (ex. the health care industry) and "Region" (ex. United States and/or Europe).
  • Business Source Complete -- Search this database to find detailed company and industry news and information.
  • Academic Search Complete – Find fulltext journal articles on a wide variety of subject.  Limit search to:  refereed publications.
  • JSTOR -- Hundreds of fulltext journals across a wide variety of disciplines
  • Lexis-Nexis Academic -- Newspapers, business and legal research. Use the Guided Search.
  • Project Muse --Fulltext of articles in the humanities and social sciences.
  • ScienceDirect -- Useful for finding the full text of scholarly research papers, including articles from the social sciences and business. Use the Search form.

- Search for books by keyword
- Search for journals (but not articles!) in "Journals, Magazines Newspapers" (Video Tutorial)

* Interlibrary Loan (to have books or articles sent to you) (Click for Video Tutorial)
