WMST 302, ALL AMERICAN WOMEN: A MULTICULTURAL APPROACH

Off-Campus Access:

When you select an electronic resource (database, journal, etc.) from off campus, you will be prompted to enter your student ID number. Use your 8 digit University ID Number (UIN). - America: History and Life (covers US and Canada)
-Contemporary Women's Issues (no full text articles, but can get citations and then find articles)
-Gender Studies Database (includes Women's Studies International and Men's Studies databases combined-covers material from 1972 to present)
- Gerritsen Collection (historical materials 1543-1945)
- Historical Abstracts (covers the world except for US and Canada)
- Sociological Abstracts (covers 1952 to present)
- Women's Studies International (a subset of the Gender Database mentioned above)

* Other:

- A variety of excellent reference books related to women are located in the Perry Library Reference Department in the HQ classification.
- Specific books and videos can be located by going to the library catalog and doing a search by keyword, author, title, etc.

Other Information:

Remember: when you know the title of a particular journal you want, from the library's homepage at http://www.lib.odu.edu, look for the heading "Resources." Then click on "Journal, magazines & newspapers." In the search box, type in the name (title) of the journal (not the article title). You will get links to online versions of the journal (when available) and also information about where to find a print copy in the library (assuming the library subscribes to it).
