Prof. Donald L. McCabe studied 500 middle and high school
students. Half felt it was okay to have parents do their homework. See
U.S. News & World Report, 127.20 (1999):55.
- University of Virginia
Physics Prof. Louis Bloomfield used software to detect
plagiarism. Results released in May 2001: 122 students accused of possible
plagiarism. UVa's Code of Ethics was not deterrent enough.
