A. The Research Publishing Cycle

For many disciplines, a researcher's findings may be published as any one or all of the following types of publications:

Primary Sources	Thesis or Dissertation Conference Proceeding Technical or Grant Report Journal Article Book Chapter
Secondary Sources	Edited Volume Annual Review Textbook Book Magazine
Tertiary Sources	Reference Materials (Encyclopedias, Handbooks, etc.)
