B.  How to conduct a CINAHL Plus with Full Text search

 A few notes about CINAHL Plus with Full Text:

  • Subject scope: nursing and allied health
  • Material types: journals, books, dissertations, proceedings, etc.
  • Time range: 1937-present
  • Availability of materials: includes more than 600,000 full-text articles, and full text for more than 220 books/monographs; includes links to full text articles for which ODU has subscription
  • Available through the EBSCOhost search system
  • Has extensive search and limit options
  • Has elaborate subject heading system using

It is important to know that there is no one "right" way to conduct a search.  The results you retrieve from one search can suggest new terms for you to use in additional searches.   Also, keep in mind that most databases provide extensive HELP screens all along the way.
