B. How to
conduct a CINAHL search
A few reminders about
CINAHL:
- available through the
EBSCOhost search system
- has Basic and Advanced
modes for searching
- records retrieved will
primarily be citations and abstracts
- some full-text articles
will be available; some
full text is also available for reports, standards, government articles
It is important to know that
there is no one "right" way to conduct a search. The results
you retrieve from one search can suggest new terms for you to use in additional
searches. Also, keep in mind that most databases provide extensive
HELP screens all along the way.
