Saturday hours are 9am-5pm; Sunday 9am-midnight. ==> TIME TO TRY OUT A NEW DATABASE You still have time to try out several ProQuest historical newspaper databases, the English Short Title Catalogue, and several business databases, including Mergent Online, Morningstar, and Hoover's. To access these trials, go to the library's "Databases" page and find links with logon information at the bottom of the page. ==> CURRENT LIBRARY EXHIBITS Both the Perry Library and Diehn Composers Room are featuring lobby and Web exhibits for public viewing. In the Perry Library Lobby, you may view "Building the University," an exhibit to commemorate Old Dominion University's 75th anniversary. Combining photographs and various other materials from the University Archives, the exhibit celebrates campus life with a look at some of the buildings central to our campus history. The Web exhibit includes audio files from interviews conducted with former faculty and administrators of the University: http://www.lib.odu.edu/exhibits/odu75thanniversary/ Through January 6, 2006, you may view an exhibit of the recent work of Adolphus Hailstork, internationally known composer, Cultural Laureate for the State of Virginia, and Eminent Scholar and Professor of Music at the University. "The Lion's Roar: Adolphus Hailstork in Perspective" is available in the University Libraries' Diehn Composers Room (Room 189, Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center) and features manuscripts, scores, sound recordings, awards, work sketches, correspondence, programs, posters and photos.
