LIBNEWS-L: New Resources and Services at Old Dominion University Libraries April 25, 2006 * Yom HaShoah Exhibit in Perry Library * Extended Library Hours for Exam Week ------------------------------------------ ==> YOM HASHOAH EXHIBIT IN PERRY LIBRARY In observance of Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, April 25, the Old Dominion University Libraries has mounted an exhibit "Never Shall I Forget" in the lobby of Perry Library. The exhibit of photographs is available for viewing from April 24 through April 28, 2006. ------------------------------------------ ==> EXTENDED LIBRARY HOURS FOR EXAM WEEK The Perry Library will be open the following hours during finals week: Wednesday - Thursday, April 26-27: 8am - 2am Friday, April 28: 8am - 9:30pm Saturday, April 29: 9am - 9:30pm Sunday, April 30: 9am - 2am Monday-Tuesday, May 1-2: 8am - 2am Wednesday-Friday, May 3-5: Regular Hours Saturday-Sunday, May 6-7: CLOSED During the extended hours, the first floor, circulation services, and reference resources will be available for patron use until the building closes. Reference Desk, Microforms, Interlibrary Loan, Digital Services, Special Collections, the Hofheimer Art Library, and the Diehn Composers Room will close as scheduled. For the 9:30pm closings, the upper floors will not be available for patron use. Circulation staff will be available to retrieve materials from the general collection upon patron request from 7:30-9:30pm. For the 2am closings, the upper floors and retrieval of materials will not be available from midnight-2am.
