Coverage is from 1974-present. * Bibliography of the History of Art: provides the most comprehensive art bibliography available worldwide, covering European and American visual arts from late antiquity to the present. Coverage is from 1973-present. * DAAI: Design and Applied Arts Index: contains abstracts and bibliographic records for articles, news items, and reviews published in design and applied arts periodicals. Coverage is from 1973-present. Access these databases from the library's "Databases" page. Because they are ODU subscriptions, IP address restrictions apply: from home, you'll need to enter your Campus UIN at the Easy Proxy page. --------------------------------------- ==> DATABASE HIGHLIGHT: IEEE EXPLORE The IEEE Explore has nearly one third of the world’s current literature in electrical engineering, electronics, and computer science.  The database numbers nearly 1.2 million documents.  Included are papers from more than 120 IEEE journals, 900 active IEEE standards, and the proceedings of 400 annual conferences.  The majority of the content dates back to 1988 with content from selected publications as far back as 1950.  This resource is a core acquisition and supports the University’s PhD, masters, and undergraduate programs as well as faculty research in the engineering and computer science disciplines. Access IEEE Explore from the library's "Databases" page or from the "Journals, magazines, newspapers" page. Because it is available through the Virtual Library of Virginia (VIVA), IP address restrictions apply: from home, you'll need to enter your Campus UIN at the Easy Proxy page. --------------------------------------- ==> SEVERAL NEW PROJECT MUSE JOURNALS Several new journals have been added to the electronic journal collection Project Muse.
