The database provides full text for more than 750 journals, and includes full text for more than 100 books and monographs, and for numerous education-related conference papers. Coverage is from 1984-present. Access Education Research Complete from the library's Databases page by title or subject "Education." Because it is available through library subscription, IP address restrictions apply: from off campus, you'll need to enter your Campus UIN at the Easy Proxy page. Please contact Nancy Schafer, Education Reference Librarian, at nschafer@odu.edu with any questions or comments you may have about this database. ------------------------- ==> TAX FORMS ON THE WEB Tax forms and instructions are available electronically from the following Web sites: Federal: http://www.irs.ustreas.gov/formspubs/index.html Virginia: http://www.tax.virginia.gov/ Other States: http://www.findlaw.com/11stategov/indextax.html The Perry Library no longer receives print copies. ----------------------------------------------------- ==> "SPORTS WRITING: MORE THAN A GAME" -- FEBRUARY 6 The Friends of the Library panel discussion, "Sports Writing: More Than A Game," will be held in room 102 of the Mills Godwin Building on Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. A panel of practicing sports writers -- Jim Ducibella (a sportswriter at The Virginian-Pilot since 1981), Bob Molinaro (who has written a column for more than 20 years) and Paul White (a member of The Virginian-Pilot sports staff since 1993) -– will debate ethical issues, such as: * Should sports writers be fans or boosters on behalf of local teams? * Is it worth going to jail over a sports story to protect an anonymous source? * Young athletes, women athletes: do they merit deferential treatment by sports writers? This event is free and open to the public.
