JCR allows you to evaluate and compare journals using citation data drawn from over 7,500 scholarly and technical journals from more than 3,300 publishers in over 60 countries. By compiling articles' cited references — supplied by the publishing authors themselves — JCR® Web helps to measure research influence and impact at the journal and category levels, and shows the relationships between citing and cited journals. You may find: * the most frequently cited journals in a field * the highest impact journals in a field * the largest journals in a field Current data is available for 2005. Earlier Journal Citation Reports are available on CD-ROM in the Library's Reference Room. Access JCR® Web from the library's Databases page by title. Because it is available through library subscription, offcampus access is restricted -- you'll need to enter your Campus UIN at the Easy Proxy page.
