==>  TWO NEW JOURNAL COLLECTIONS: ASCE and ASM

The library has just added two journal collections: American Society of
Civil Engineers (ASCE) and American Society for Microbiology (ASM). The
ASCE Online Research Library includes all ASCE journals and conference
proceedings since 1996. Approximately 4,000 new papers will be added each
year. The ASM collection contains the Society's 11 journals covering the
spectrum of microbiology, from molecular and cellular biology to biomedical
research and technology.

Access the collections from the "Journals, Magazines, Newspapers" page or
search by individual journal title. Because they are available through
library subscription, IP address restrictions apply: from off campus,
you'll need to enter your Campus UIN at the Easy Proxy page.

==>  WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH EXHIBIT STARTS MARCH 6

In recognition of Women's History Month 2008, the Old Dominion University
Libraries will mount an exhibit, "Women's Art: Women's Vision," in the main
lobby of Perry Library. The exhibit will feature books on women artists
from the collection of the Hofheimer Art Library in the Diehn Fine and
Performing Arts Center. It will be available March 6 through the end of the
month.
