through Annual Reviews Online at http://arjournals.annualreviews.org/
arsearch.dtl. A "username" or campus ID number is required for off-campus

Is last minute Surf
'n' Turf for you?
Faculty, students,
staff: the university community is invited to learn more about the
library over the lunch hour. "Surf" sessions will teach you some
of the best techniques for searching electronic databases, the library
catalog, and the Web.
"Turf" sessions
are tours of Perry Library and help you get the lay of the land.
You will discover some of the most important areas of the library
and how to use them effectively.
Surf 'n' Turf
sessions are informal and designed for interested individuals, not
whole classes. They will be held concurrently on November 7 and
16 at 12:30. Plan to meet in the lobby of Perry Library and choose
the option that appeals to you on that day: Surf or Turf.
Drop in for Term Paper
Triage
Students: to allay the
panic that you may feel at this time of year, try Term Paper Triage.
Reference librarians are on hand to assist individual students in
finding the resources they need. A professional from the Writing
Center is also available to assist with needs related to the term
paper itself. This semester's drop-in session is set for November
13 from 1:00 to 4:00pm in room 163. No registration is necessary.
