Maggie Anderson Maggie Anderson is the author of three collections of poems, most recently Cold Comfort (University of Pittsburgh, 1986). Recent poems have appeared in Indiana Review, Ploughshares, The American Voice, and other magazines. She is the editor of Hill Daughter: New and Selected Poems of Louise McNeill (University of Pittsburgh, 1991). She is a recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Anderson is an assistant professor at Kent State University and teaches undergraduate and graduate poetry workshops and minority literature. Maggie Anderson will be part of a dual poetry reading with Jack Myers at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, in the Hampton-Newport News Room in Webb Center. [extracted from 1991 brochure] |
