| Tim Mclaurin
Tim Mclaurin, born in
Fayetteville, N.C., is a graduate of the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill. Before turning to writing, he served in the Marine Corps
and the Peace Corps. He has also worked as a carpenter, a news reporter,
and a snake handler in a carnival. Mr. McLaurin is the author of two
novels, The Acorn Plan and Woodrow's Trumpet, and the
recent autobiography, Keeper of the Moon. [extracted from 1992
