Charles Wright teaches writing at the University of California at Irvine. He is a former Fulbright Scholar and Lecturer and a Guggenheim Fellow. Mr. Wright's books include the The Grave of the Right Hand, The Venice Notebook, Hard Freight, Bloodlines and Images of Kin. He was a Guggenheim Fellow in 1976. [extracted from 1978 brochure]
