Angels in America II:  Perestroika

Written by Tony Kushner
Directed by Christopher Hanna

This season the Old Dominion University Theatre presents part two of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning Angels in America by Tony Kushner.  This powerful epic explores ethnic diversity and sexual politics in Reagan-era America.  Angels reaches far beyond the themes of homosexuality, AIDS, and Judaism into the very heart of today's society.  Although Perestroika is the second part of Angels, it is a complete, self-contained play -- a must-see even if you missed part one.
