Note About Video

Video files for the 22nd Annual Literary Festival have been converted to RealMedia, which reduces the size for Web access. Streaming the video allows the file to load immediately; however, from home computers, net congestion may make viewing slow and interrupted. The best viewing is from a campus network connection or home DSL. We are also providing the option to download the files -- this process may take hours, but the quality will be better.

Viewing requires the RealPlayer plug-in, which can be downloaded if necessary (Download Now). (Contact Karen Vaughan kvaughan@odu.edu if you have trouble viewing the video.)

The RealMedia video was originally shot and produced by Academic Television Services. Archival copies of the full video are available on JAZ disc and VHS tape in Perry Library Special Collections.
