Peter Meinke

Peter Meinke has published 12 books of poetry, six in the Pitt Poetry Series, including Zinc Fingers, Scars, and Liquid Paper: New and Selected Poems. His poems and stories have appeared in Poetry, The New Yorker, The Atlantic, The Georgia Review, and scores of other magazines. Among his many awards are the Olivet Prize, the Paumanok Award, three prizes from the Poetry Society of America, two NEA Fellowships in Poetry, and the Flannery O'Connor Award for his short story collection, The Piano Tuner.
