AIMEE NEZHUKUMATATHILAimee Nezhukumatathil was born in Chicago in 1974 to an Indian father and a Filipina mother. She received the BA in English and the MFA in poetry and creative nonfiction from Ohio State University. She is the author of Fishbone, and was the Middlebrook Poetry Fellow at the Institute for Creative Writing at the University of Wisconsin. She is currently assistant professor of English at the State University of New York in Fredonia. Of her most recent book, Miracle Fruit (Tupelo Press Judge's Prize in Poetry), former Poet Laureate of the United States Billy Collins says "...
