Daphne Kalotay is the author of Calamity
and Other Stories (Doubleday, 2005). Her short fiction has appeared
in publications ranging from Missouri Review and Prairie
Schooner to AGNI and Good Housekeeping and has
won fellowships from the MacDowell Colony and the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation.
Kalotay lives in Brookline, Mass. and teaches literature and writing
at Boston University, where she received her M.A. in creative writing
and a Ph.D. in modern and contemporary literature.
