Cassette and reel tapes of student recitals and Music Department affiliated concerts are housed in the Music Special Collections Area of the Diehn Composers Room Listening Library. Recordings that have been received since January 1, 1996, have been cataloged into the online catalog of the Old Dominion University Libraries. A complete listing of these holdings may be retrieved by using Old Dominion University Dept. of Music as an Author Search. Particular performances may be located by entering the main performer's name or the ensemble's name as an Author Search.

The F. Ludwig Diehn Concert Series is a part of the concert and recital tape holdings.
