The core of the Adolphus Hailstork Collection was placed on deposit in the Diehn Composers Room in 2000 by the composer. The deposit of his materials in the DCR followed a concert and exhibit sponsored by the Old Dominion University Libraries, and funded by the Norfolk Foundation. Access and Borrrowing Materials

The collection is available for research in the Diehn Composers Room only. These materials are not available for borrowing or photocopying. Some scores that are part of the Music Special Collections are also cataloged and shelved in the circulating collection of the Diehn Composers Room.
