I agree to return all checked out materials by the assigned due date. I also agree to take precautions when handling library materials, including but not limited to the following:

• No exposure to intense light or heat (especially sunlight)
• Concealing items from rain and wind
• No food or drink consumed in proximity to the item(s)
• Keeping items from reach of pets and small children
• Not loaning the items to friends or associates

In the event an extension to the due date should be required, use the following procedure:

• Call (757) 683-4173 and inform the desk worker of your need to extend the date due. Please be prepared to let us know when you will return the item.
