6c. Are journals periodicals?
My professor tells me to use journals. Is a journal the same as a periodical?
A journal is a periodical which has scholarly information, usually written by professors, researchers, or experts in a subject area, and not intended for the general public.
Sometimes you'll need to find articles in scholarly journals or refereed (peer-reviewed) journals or professional journals.
