Linking to Full-Text Articles From Library Databases

The library provides many full-text resources through subscription databases and electronic journal collections. Rather than re-scanning an article, you may provide a link from your Blackboard or other Web site to materials in these databases.

Certain databases provide "stable" or "persistent" links or "digital object identifiers" (DOI) for permanent access to these articles. If there are no stable URLs available, the link you create may not be available after your session. The following are instructions for linking to the stable URLs provided through some of our database systems.

Note: If you want students to access the materials from offcampus, the URL must begin with the following:

http://proxy.lib.odu.edu/login?url=

If a collection you need is not on this list, or if you need further assistance, contact Tonia Graves (tgraves@odu.edu) or Karen Vaughan (kvaughan@odu.edu).

ACM / EbscoHost / JStor / Nature / Ovid / ProjectMuse / ProQuest / SAGE / Science Direct / WilsonWeb
