The Virginia Symphony Foundation PapersHistorical SketchThe Virginia Symphony Foundation is organized for the purpose of providing financial support to the Virginia Symphony by administering funds and property as may be contributed to this Foundation for the benefit of the Virginia Symphony. Scope and ContentsThis collection is broken into three Series: I. Administrative; II. Board of Directors; and III. Financial. Series I: Administrative. This series contains administrative materials for the Virginia Symphony Foundation. Currently there are only by-laws in this section, but other materials may be added as they are acquired. Series II: Board of Directors. This series contains agendas and minutes of Virginia Symphony Foundation meetings, as well as board rosters. Material dates from 1994 to 2003. Series III: Financial. This series contains financial information for the Virginia Symphony Foundation including financial statements, logs, and summaries. Materials date from 1995 to 1997. ProvenanceA gift from various members of the Virginia Symphony community from 2004 to 2007. AccessOpen to researchers without restrictions.
