Use
a Style Manual
Check with your instructor for the style
you should use when documenting your sources in a paper (footnotes, bibliography,
etc.). If no one style is preferred, choose one style and be consistent
in your documentation. Most libraries have several of the most frequently
used style manuals, such as tt frequently
used style manuals, such as the MLA Style Manual, Chicago Manual
of Style, and Turabian's Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses,
and Dissertations for you to consult. Most style manuals include a
section on citing electronic resources. Ask at your library's reference
desk or use the World-Wide-Web to see some style manuals.
Use your library first!
If you want to use
a Consortium
library, check their hours and services first.
If you want to borrow
a book from a Consortium library, be sure to check the Circulation
Policies of that library.
Remember to obtain a
Consortium card from your home library before you go to another
library to check out a book. |
